High Fiber Foods Is What Your Body Needs

High fiber foods have numerous benefits like lowering your cholesterol and preventing kidney stones. Why? Because foods that are rich in fiber like fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts and seeds contain ZERO cholesterol.

The more foods high in fiber you eat, the less animal products like meat, milk, and eggs you'll consume. And the less animal products you eat, the less your risk of chronic disease.

If you have problems with indigestion, your diet has a lack of fiber. My diet consists mostly of fruits and vegetables with some nuts and seeds and occasional grains. It takes me literally ten to fifteen seconds to drop my kids off at the pool.

I kid you not when I say that it takes me longer to pee than it does to drop a deuce. Our body is made to digest plants. We are natural herbivores. The more our diet reflects this, the less time we sit on the toilet, the less toilet paper we use, and the less our gas makes other people want to puke.

High fiber foods help your body in two ways. First, fiber helps all of your organs that aid in digestion by removing everything your body doesn't want. What's leftover from food and the toxins that have become stuck in your body are shown how to exit in a nice and orderly fashion. But perhaps more importantly, every food that is high in fiber is also high in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, especially fruits and vegetables.

Before I stopped eating animal products I rarely got sick, I'd come down with something bad maybe once a year. After removing almost all fruits and vegetables from my diet in my last semester at college, eating mostly meat and bread, I came down with a severe case of bronchitis. I won't go into detail, but for four days I was MISERABLE.

Ever since I have started eating meals full of fruits and big salads, I not only feel GREAT after my meals and when I go to the bathroom but I have not once felt even the smallest symptoms of the common cold. It is not natural to get sick.

When eating high fiber foods, raw is best! There is a HUGE lack of information in the general public about the amazing and life-sustaining properties of the enzymes> that are found in live, raw food. Enzymes are critical for almost every function in our body!

The good thing about high fiber foods is that they don't need to be cooked! Whole foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds taste BETTER in their natural, raw state. We don't need to cook them with fancy spices, salt, and sauces for them to taste good (like with meat).

However grains, nuts and seeds are much better for you and your walled when they are soaked and/or sprouted for maximum nutrient and enzyme content. Sprouting can increase the nutritional content up to 300-1200%!

No other animals cook their food, and no other animals show ANY signs of the huge amounts of degenerative diseases like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, retardation, arthritis, and Alzheimer's that are so rampant in the countries of affluence. It is a little known secret that many of these diseases can be prevented and cured by eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Many of these disease will be cured even faster if one consumes a diet rich in raw foods.

We have strafed far away from our natural diet. If we really were omnivores, like bears and raccoons, we wouldn't have any trouble digesting meat. But that's not how our body works. As shown in the China Study, even small amounts of meat show greater risk of chronic disease than no meat at all.

So eat more fruits and vegetables! And do your best to eat them raw!
