Honey and ground flax give oatmeal a honey-nut taste. Blueberries and peaches taste great together. You can add vanilla and cinnamon to any oatmeal combination to improve the taste.
Try eating any of these delicious combinations with almond milk to eat it like cereal. I would eat it with every oatmeal meal if almond milk didn't disappear faster than anything else at my house!
The Secret!Oatmeal is an old Irish food. How they use to eat it was to soak the oatmeal overnight (in a glass container), so it would be ready to eat in the morning! Just rinse off the soak water and heat it up (in a pan!). It tastes MUCH better this way!
Oats are cooked because they last longer on the shelf, so they are not raw, but try soaking them overnight and be amazed at how much better it tastes.
Mix and match any of the following ingredients! Be creative!
